Driving to Georgia

When we planned this whirlwind trip to Florida and South Carolina, we were sure to consult with the University of Georgia football schedule.
Ever since Matt's first trip to a college football game back before we were married he's been itching to get back.
Mommy's two very best friends live in Georgia, too!
We knew we couldn't be 2 hours from them and NOT visit them.
September 25 Mommy, Daddy, Madison, and Kennedy packed up Grandma's big car and drove south.
As with most things these days, our schedule did not go as planned.
After lots of planning, re-planning, organizing, re-organizing...we finally had an impromptu plan.
Friday night we were having dinner with the Zavitz family...er, uh..families.
On the way down we wanted to stop and visit with Aunt Kimberly and her daughter, McLean.
Originally we planned on meeting them at Discover Mills Mall.
As the morning faded away and lunch time came and went, we realized Mall of Georgia might be better for everyone.
We arrived around the same time and the girls met for the first time.
Madison was born August 2006. McLean August 2007. Kennedy August 2008.
We've been passing clothes back and forth across the country for a couple years now!
It was awesome to have a little time to see their little personalities together in PERSON.
We started at Build-A-Bear where we picked up a Georgia cheer leading dress and football uniform for two of our animals.
Then we let the kids run around the mall for a little while to get some energy out.

McLean and Madison got distracted by the polka dot dog inside Victoria's Secret.

They were so sweet holding hands and laughing together.

Saying goodbye after such a short time together was no fun.
With the promise of a visit at Kimberly's house Sunday afternoon we parted ways and got back on the road.
But not before a little splashing in the big fountain outside of the food court.
