Daddy met us there after work. Timing was perfect as we pulled in to the parking lot at the same moment!
Madison was excited to show Daddy her classroom and all the projects she's been working on, including making paper plate apples for their classroom tree.
Daddy also got to meet Madison's teacher, Miss Elizabeth.
There were light refreshments, ie cookies available for the kids. Madison chose a small vanilla wafer, while Kennedy went for a large sugar cookie. Exactly opposite of the choices we would have guessed.
After our short tour of school, we went out for dinner at our favorite local Mexican restaurant where both girls loaded up on cheese enchiladas, rice, beans, chips, salsa, and of course- OLIVES!
