July 11th- free Slurpee day- was Kennedy's first day in her new big girl seat AND facing forward.
I know, car seat police, she is NOT a year old yet.
Technically they are not supposed to face forward until they are 22 lbs AND 1 year.
The girls' pediatrician said Madison had plenty of head control to face forward a month before her first birthday.
Kennedy is even stronger than her sister was so we knew she would be safe.
We've never liked the straps on Madison's car seat, so it is now our secondary seat for Daddy's Jeep (since we never had one in his Jeep).
The girls now have new, safe, and easy to use car seats- Oh- and they are too stinking cute, too!
Madison's head rest and straps sit higher, of course- since she is so much bigger.
The girls drove with Mommy to a fun Stamping Open House with Mommy's Stampin Up Demonstrator, Maureen.
They were exhausted after playing so hard with Maureen's grand daughters so they fell asleep on the way home.
Seems the new seats are working just fine.
