On their big moving day, July 31st, Miss Ryan came to our house to play so Mommy (who is 15 weeks pregnant with baby #3, by the way) and Daddy could focus on getting everything settled in the new house with their other family helpers.
Ryan arrived around 10am and we jumped right into dress up
She wanted to be Snow White, Madison wanted to be Tinkerbell
Unfortunately we only have one pair of dress-up shoes so we had to improvise with the Pumpkin Fairy slippers that came with Madison's Halloween costume her second Halloween.
Kennedy was sporting the rest of the Pumpkin Fairy costume.
The three of them looked so stinking cute in their ensembles
Kennedy kept up with the bigger girls. If only we had 3 rocking chairs
Didn't take her long to be distracted by a car on the floor
Then, suited up for the pool.
The girls started in the little pool while Mommy filled up the new, big pool.
It wasn't long before the Madison and Ryan jumped into the big pool and left Kennedy to play with her cups in the little pool.
"Hey guys- Can I play over there?"
Cheese!
Kennedy poured water from one cup to another
Then Sierra walked by and distracted her- see her signing- 'Dog'
Instead of patting her hip, she pats her chest.
After pool time, the girls were getting tired so we headed back inside to dry off and get ready for naps. Madison and Ryan fell asleep on the sofa watching Cinderella while Kennedy napped in her crib.
Madison was really beat, so I moved her to our bedroom when Ryan and Kennedy woke up.
Kennedy was a very sweet sharer during her time with her friend 'Baby Kennedy'.
They shared a frozen Gogurt, then played nicely together with the purses and necklaces.
Accessory girls.
Kennedy took her purse and baby
and climbed into Madison's old car seat- you can't tell, but she is sitting ON the purse filled with necklaces and bracelets.
"See my baby?"
Madison wanted to be a butterfly and said she needed her 'bug glasses'.
Kennedy worked hard to follow.
She got some major 'feet' time in today.
There is no doubt this accessorized girl is a full time walker
Cruising down the hall
Ryan was a ballerina.
They certainly made good use of EVERY toy in the house and the new open space the girls have in their room since Mommy re-arranged the furniture.
The girls were sad to see their friend go home, but they were still amped up and wanted a snack.
Since it was such a special day of play, we continued the party with ice cream!
Kennedy had a cone with a little bit of chocolate syrup instead of ice cream.
It was equally as messy.
I didn't plan on putting chocolate on it, so she didn't start with a bib.
After screaming at the top of her lungs (which she LOVES to do) because her sister had something in her cone and she didn't- I gave in to chocolate.
