Make your Own and a Walk

May 12th was make your own day at our house.
Madison donned her Snow White dress to start the day.

We made ice tray popsicles.

While Kennedy attempted to help.

She had fun with her pack n play in the kitchen next to us.

Next Madison made her own grilled cheese sandwich for lunch (with Mommy's help of course)

When we were finished with lunch we went for a walk to the park next to our house.

Madison took her very own digital camera with us.

She got it from Santa at Christmas.
(Mommy was anxious to try out her new lens, too!)
When we got to the park, Madison and Sierra (our dog) began exploring.

Madison was flapping arms like mini wings.

Kennedy hung out in the grass.

Come here, Mommy. Even when she's pouting she's so cute.

She wanted to go for another ride.

Then changed her mind and ran to me full force.

So excited.

She passed me and looped back around.

Meanwhile, Kennedy figured out how to grip the grass.

Which led to pulling.

Which ultimately
led to tasting.

Madison went to check out the neighbor's dog in his dog run (behind the fence in the back).
When she ran back to me, the 'wind' was taking her hat off, so she ran with her hands on her head to keep it on. She looked so silly.

'Look at the grass I found, Mommy.'

I love the wide angle in my new lens!

Madison was directing Sierra. She wasn't actually hitting her with the stick.
Contrary to how the photo appears.

Kennedy just stayed in her little spot of grass.
She doesn't like crawling in the grass. It bothers her picky knees.

The girls slept well after all this playing.
Apparently it's hard work watching your big sister run around like a crazy girl.
