For the Love of Kennedy's Babies

Did you notice a trend with Kennedy over the last several posts?
Did you see her baby?
Aunt Darlene got Kennedy her very first baby for Christmas.
A beautiful, washable baby Middleton doll.
She's been intrigued by the baby since she saw it in the box.
Something changed in March though.
She found it and wouldn't let it go.
We don't know what triggered her love for the baby.
7 months is pretty young to be attached to a doll.
None the less, Kennedy refuses to go anywhere without it.
It's pretty fun to see her face light up and hear her giggle when you put the baby in front of her.
She grips her baby so tightly and pulls back if you try to take her away.
She knows the difference between her baby and others (we have 2 girls, so we have LOTS of baby dolls).
When we try to give her a plush baby, Mommy's Cabbage Patch, or one of Madison's first babies she holds it for a second but then wants her baby.
May12th after our walk to the park, Kennedy was playing with her baby when I brought out Madison's very first baby doll from Aunt Darlene.

She liked the baby doll.
After she loved on the doll for a little while she climbed into Madison's rocking chair (which is also becoming one of her favorite things)
So I put Madison's baby next to her.
That wasn't good enough for her.
She wanted the baby in her seat.

She pulled a little of the doll's hair out trying to get her into the rocking chair.

So she went for the shoulder instead. (notice she never let go of her own baby)

She finally managed to get the baby where she wanted her. This baby is heavy, so this was no small feat.

She tried to kiss the baby (and look at how tightly her fingers are gripping her baby)

and love the baby.

She was quite content with her two little mini-me's.

Just like a little Mommy....with happy curly toes.
