Sunday, May 3rd Mommy, Daddy, Madison and Kennedy drove down to Mommy's old stomping ground (Pasadena) to the Jet Propulsion Laboratory Open House.
Daddy has always been interested in JPL's annual Open House.
His Daddy took him when he was younger (not quite as young as Madison)
Daddy wasn't sure if he wanted to go by himself or take the fam.
Since we just got back from a long Florida trip away from Daddy, we decided everyone should go.
The night before we left Daddy showed Madison some robot videos online to get her excited about what we were going to see.
She was excited about seeing the robots.
In fact, after this trip Madison fell in love with 'Daddy's robot movie', Transformers.
We got started a little later than we expected Sunday morning (which always happens when the whole family is involved)
We parked the car, loaded up the stroller, and started touring the exhibits.
We saw 3d images of the moon's surface, and lots of other robotic 'toys' NASA uses in space explorations.
Daddy didn't get to see quite as much as he could have without us- the lines were crazy long for most of the tours, but he had a great time, anyway.
