Oct 19, 2009- Costumes and Flying

In October 2006, I decided to make Madison's first Halloween costume.
Since Miss Kennedy got the stereotypical second child shaft last year, I decided to make up for it this year.
After finding a fabulous tu-tu tutorial online, I went to work.
Late Oct 18th, while Mommy's friend Juliana was in town (and Mommy was feeling super inspired- thank you, Juliana!) the tutu was started and finished!
The next morning I couldn't WAIT to try it on Kennedy

along with the wings Madison used 3 years earlier

a cutie headband from Juliana, and red and black striped tights- this Ladybug Girl was just about ready for her second Halloween!

(after this little photo shoot I trimmed the stragglers on the skirt)

Daddy started 'flying' Madison a long time ago.
Kennedy now likes to get in on the game

Check out that tongue!

If she sees a blanket laying on the ground,

she lays down and waits for someone to pick her up

Each night as Mommy rocks Kennedy and puts her to bed, Daddy entertains Madison.
Most nights a tired Daddy winds down for the night by reading a magazine.
Madison loves to hang out in bed with Daddy and quickly discovered Mommy's newest mailed publication.

This is how I found the two of them.
