Smooch

Do you want to smooch this face as much as I do?
When did our tiny baby turn into a big girl?
4...in 18 days she will be 4 years old!

A First for Mommy

OK, so it's no big secret I LOVE to blog hop.
Sometimes into the wee hours of the morning I find myself clicking from one fantastic project, story, photo tip, furniture re-do to the next!
Well today I did it.
I linked up to my VERY FIRST linky party!!
Ah- I feel like such a big girl. ;)

Tuesday Conversations

The girls are currently headed to bed.
Just a minute ago I had a little conversation with them.
Mommy to Kennedy: You are so big!
Madison piping in: That makes you so sad.
Mommy to Madison: You are right. When did you get so giant, Madison?
Madison to Mommy: When I was sleeping lots.
****
This morning we drove Gramm to the airport. She was here visiting for 12 glorious days.
In honor of Gramm's last morning with us we decided to have a super healthy breakfast. Kennedy and Mommy had leftover tiramasu from last night's dessert. Madison thought she wanted some, too. After one bite she changed her mind so I offered up a brownie she made last week with Gramm. Madison was agreeable to the new offering and informed, "Brownies are delicious. This...is not."
And there you have it.

Nice Hat

Kennedy found this 'hat' May 18 in the tupperware cabinet (of course by Tupperware I mean Rubbermaid, Ziploc disposables, random plastic bowls, and a couple pieces of actual Tupperware).

She thought it would be fun to hold it on her head

and run circles around the kitchen island

round and round she went for a good 15 minutes.

She slept great that night!

Faces

Before the pea incident, during snack and again at dinner, Kennedy made faces.

Cheese!

This is the classic 'Mommy' face. Mommy couldn't do anything as a toddler without sticking her tongue out....crawl, walk, run...tongue was always out.

The standard monster scowl...tonight she said, "I ANGRY", then threw her head back in laughter.

Next was, "Wuk at dis Mommy" as she raised her eyebrows, strained her neck, and gritted her teeth.

All those faces were so tiring (taken shortly before the 'pea incident')
Of course we can't take pictures of one child without the other begging for attention.
"Mommy, take a picture of me, TOO!"

What a ham!

Yep, she did.

Tonight at dinner Kennedy put two peas up her nose.
Same nostril.
Then laughed.
She blew them right out when Mommy asked her, tissue in hand.
We call her monster.
Now you know why.
